who we are
My name is Digby and I am the owner of Nerds With Knowledge.
Nerds With Knowledge was registered on the 2nd day of October 2006, but was conceived as such some months before.
My background with computers is primarily Microsoft operating systems, Windows 95, 98 ME, 2000, XP, and now Windows Vista. Although I have dabbled a little with Linux.
I am certified as a (M.C.P) Microsoft Certified Professional, Trained for windows network installation and administration, workgroups domains, and implementing servers. Also A+ Certified, (that is hardware and software diagnostic and technical appraisal and repair technician), N+ Certified, which covers all the issues of network fault diagnosis, and rectification, network installation, both wired and unwired, protocols etc.
Certificate IV incorporating network management, security implementation, project management, overseeing long term project fruition. Studied at A.C.I.T (Australian college of Information Technology) gaining Certification in house as well as Microsoft Certifications.
I am also involved with (voip) Voice over IP, which is a great way for the business and residential community to save money using there home telephone. I am an agent for Kaspersky, which is in my opinion the most forward thinking Network Security/Antivirus product on the market today.
